What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (Full or Part-Time) position at McPherson County Special Education Cooperative?
McCSEC is seeking a full OR part-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
Qualifications include:
*Ability to collaborate with other Occupational Therapists in the evaluation of students who may be in need of occupational therapy services;
*Ability to provide services in environments as dictated by the student's IEP including general education classrooms, special education resource rooms, and other school or community locations;
*Ability to assist in collaborating with other school personnel in providing direct and indirect Occupational Therapy services (under the guidance of the OT) and to assigned students as dictated by student IEP plans;
*Willing to participate in the individual student IEP meetings when deemed appropriate by the Occupational Therapist.
Applicants must hold a current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in the State of Kansas.
