Duties
- Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure precise execution of projects.
- Operate hand tools, power tools for woodworking, and woodworking machines safely and efficiently to cut, shape, and assemble materials.
- Perform residential carpentry tasks such as door hanging, siding installation, trim carpentry, flooring installation, tile laying, and fixture installation.
- Execute framing work including metal stud framing and concrete forming for various structures.
- Assist with restoration projects involving water damage remediation, mold remediation, plastering, stucco application, and rebar installation.
- Handle heavy lifting and physical tasks required for construction site activities while maintaining safety standards for power tool safety and general site safety protocols.
- Contribute to construction site organization by fabricating components, installing siding or drywall, applying caulking or construction painting as needed.
Experience
- Proven construction experience with a focus on residential or commercial carpentry projects.
- Skilled in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings accurately.
- Familiarity with wood construction materials such as framing lumber, plywood, drywall, and trim components.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools and power tools for woodworking and metalworking tasks.
- Knowledge of construction estimating processes is a plus but not required.
- Experience in restoration industry work including water damage restoration or mold remediation is advantageous.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various weather conditions on active construction sites.

Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
