Role Description
This full-time, on-site role is based in San Diego, CA. The MEP Project Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and reviewing Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems. Daily tasks include creating detailed engineering plans, collaborating with clients, contractors, and internal teams, managing project timelines, and ensuring design compliance with codes and regulations. The candidate will manage multiple projects and actively coordinate cross-disciplinary efforts to achieve client goals efficiently and effectively.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems design
- Strong expertise in Plumbing, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering
- Effective Project Management skills, including planning, scheduling, and team coordination
- Knowledge of energy-efficient designs and compliance with building codes
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) designation is a plus
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Experience in MEP consulting or the construction industry is highly advantageous
