Handyman/Laborer

Job Description:
We are a fast-growing property management company managing over 500 residential units throughout Western and Central Massachusetts. We are seeking a reliable and experienced Handyman to join our team. This is a full-time position responsible for performing a variety of maintenance, repair, and improvement tasks across our portfolio of residential properties.

Responsibilities:

• Perform interior and exterior painting and touch-ups
• Handle minor plumbing repairs (e.g., faucet leaks, drain clogs, toilet repairs)
• Complete basic electrical work (e.g., replacing outlets, switches, and light fixtures)
• Conduct general carpentry and small-scale construction work
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
• Maintain tools and company equipment in good condition
• Communicate with property management staff regarding job status and needs
• Participate in rotating on-call schedule for emergency maintenance needs

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a handyman or in a related trade
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, painting, and light construction
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders or in tight spaces as needed
