Job Description
Currently seeking a Leasing Consultant to join our team . Our ideal candidate is a team-player who will uphold the highest standards of professionalism, customer service, and work ethic.
Tasks
- Enthusiastically discuss various features of the community to prospects
- Provide in-person and virtual tours of the apartment community and furnished model apartments
- Collect and process application materials from prospective residents
- Maintain media advertisements in coordination with apartment availability.
- Complete Market Survey's
- Review legally binding documents with new residents and assist with move-in processes such as final inspection of apartment and transfer of access devices
- Daily data entry and email correspondence related to insurance, lease contracts, work orders, and billing statements, move in's/move outs, lease renewal.
- Hear and resolve concerns from prospects and residents
Knowledge
- Clerical — Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, designing forms, and other office procedures.
- Computers and Electronics — Knowledge of frequently used computer software such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Legal Responsibilities — Knowledge of Federal, State, and Local laws pertaining to the housing industry such as Fair Housing.
Skills and Abilities
- Customer Service — Knowledge of principles and processes for providing outstanding customer service. This includes assessing prospect and resident needs, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
- Active Listening — Giving full attention to what residents and prospects are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, and asking questions as appropriate.
- Critical Thinking and Problem Solving — Identifying the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems related to prospect and resident concerns.
- Multitasking and Adaptability — performing day-to-day administrative tasks such as maintaining information files and processing paperwork while being able to balance communication with prospects, residents, and staff as necessary in a busy work environment.
Starting salary determined by experience and skill set. Commissions/bonuses earned monthly in addition to base pay.
