Availability: Immediate and upcoming assignments

MCO Homecare Services LLC is seeking compassionate, dependable, and professional Home Health Aides, Certified Nursing Assistants, and Personal Care Assistants for current and anticipated in-home assignments in Clarkesville and surrounding North Georgia communities.

Service Areas:

• Demorest
• Cornelia
• Mount Airy
• Baldwin
• Helen
• Sautee Nacoochee
• Tallulah Falls
• Toccoa
• Surrounding Habersham County and North Georgia communities

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with approved activities of daily living
• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and personal hygiene
• Provide mobility, transfer, positioning, and fall-prevention assistance
• Prepare light meals according to the client’s plan of care
• Provide medication reminders when permitted
• Perform light housekeeping and client-related laundry
• Provide companionship, supervision, and safety support
• Follow each client’s approved plan of care and agency procedures
• Complete accurate and timely service documentation
• Clock in and out through WellSky for assigned shifts
• Promptly report changes in condition, incidents, missed visits, scheduling changes, and safety concerns
• Protect client confidentiality and comply with HIPAA requirements
• Perform only duties permitted by the caregiver’s qualifications and assigned scope

Qualifications:

• Current Georgia CNA certification, completed PCA/HHA training, or relevant professional caregiving experience
• Experience assisting clients with personal care, mobility, transfers, and safety supervision
• Current CPR and First Aid certification or ability to obtain them before assignment
• Current TB clearance or ability to obtain it before assignment
• Current physical or health clearance
• Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance
• Reliable transportation to clients’ homes
• Ability to pass required background and employment screenings
• Dependable attendance and professional communication
• Ability to work independently in clients’ homes
• Ability to complete required training and competency evaluations
• Ability to complete an application with a full five-year employment history

Preferred Experience:

• Home-care or personal-care experience
• Dementia or memory-care experience
• Hospice or end-of-life support experience
• Safe transfer and fall-prevention experience
• Experience with WellSky or another electronic visit-verification system
• Availability to serve multiple communities in the Clarkesville area
