29-year-old female, living in Gladwyne, looking for a creative and fun individual to assist her in the home and the community on the weekends.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support and assistance to an individual with autism and developmental disabilities in her home or community settings
- Support the individual in developing social skills and participating in community activities
Skills:
- Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities preferred
- Knowledge of direct support techniques and best practices
- Ability to provide compassionate care while promoting independence and self-determination
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
-Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Artistic, crafty, and loving to bake are a Plus!
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00- $23.00 per hour
Benefits: Mileage reimbursement
Hours needed:
· Saturday: 1:30 PM-5:30 PM (picking up at her Art class and spending time in the community Sunday: 10:00 AM-2:00 PM
