McNeill Media Group, a custom publishing house specializing in trade, consumer, and association publications, is seeking an experienced editor to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to manage content across a diverse range of B2B and consumer publications. Looking for someone located in the Philadelphia area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit, post, and manage content for multiple publications
- Oversee daily newsletters to a large subscriber base
- Oversee branded social media content
- Work with freelancers and clients to develop high-quality editorial content
- Write, edit, and proofread articles with strong attention to detail, including paid advertorials and sponsored content
- Conduct research and interviews to gather accurate information
- Stay up to date with industry news and ensure timely content updates
- Manage digital platforms, including WordPress, Mailchimp, and social media
- Implement SEO best practices and oversee content strategy
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English, or a related field Minimum of 5 years of editorial experience (B2B experience preferred)
- Strong writing, editing, and organizational skills
- Familiarity with SEO, content management systems, and social media strategies is a must
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Experience with PR Newswire and email marketing platforms is a plus
Additional Details:
- Travel hospitality industry events REQUIRED (Multiple per year)
- Remote-friendly (candidates based in Eastern PA or Central NJ preferred)
