Manager, Treasury and Risk Management
McNaughton McKay Group
The Manager, Treasury and Risk Management, of McNaughton McKay Group (MMG) is responsible for overseeing the organization’s cash flow, liquidity, investment, and financial risk management activities. This role ensures optimal use of financial resources, compliance with policies, and mitigation of financial risks through insurance programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily cash flow, liquidity planning, and forecasting to ensure adequate funding for operations.
- Monitor and control debt facilities, ensuring covenant compliance and cost-effective financing.
- Oversee bank account management, including opening/closing accounts, monitoring monthly fees and maintaining records of authorized signers.
- Review short-term and long-term investment performance and prepare monthly reports to senior management.
- Develop and maintain treasury policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard assets.
- Administer annual insurance policies balancing risk coverage and annual premiums.
- Act as a single point of contact for any insurance-related inquiries from business partners or external customers.
- Partner with internal stakeholders (finance, operations, legal) to evaluate risk exposures for new initiatives and projects.
- Continuously improve treasury and risk management processes for accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
- Certifications: CTP (Certified Treasury Professional), CFA, CPA or FRM (Financial Risk Manager) are desirable.
- Experience: 5 years of experience in treasury, corporate finance or risk management.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of cash management, debt/investment instruments, and insurance.
- Proficiency with MS Office tools with advanced Excel/financial modeling.
- Soft Skills:
- Outstanding problem-solving skills and a knack for communication.
- A self-driven, customer-focused mindset with the ability to lead by example and work hands-on with the team.

Travel: Periodic travel within Michigan, Ohio, Georgia, Carolinas and Texas
