The Marketing & Events Assistant will play a key role in supporting the marketing team
by coordinating events, managing marketing tasks, and ensuring seamless execution of

You’ll assist in planning and executing events like ribbon cuttings, community festivals,
home shows, and client appreciation activities while helping to manage day-to-day
marketing efforts, including social media, email campaigns, and promotional materials.

Key Responsibilities:
Event Coordination (40%)
- Assist in planning, organizing, and executing events such as:
- Community events (e.g., Scarecrow Fest, ribbon cuttings, parades, home
- shows).
- Customer appreciation events and open houses.
- Internal company events.
- Coordinate logistics: venue booking, permits, vendor relationships, set-up and
- tear-down, promotional materials, and staffing needs.
- Serve as an on-site representative during events, engaging with attendees and
- promoting McNally’s services in a positive, professional manner.
- Work closely with local chambers of commerce and community organizations to
- maintain partnerships and identify participation opportunities.
Marketing Support (40%)
- Assist with creating and scheduling social media content across platforms
- (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Support the development of email marketing campaigns and newsletters.
- Maintain marketing materials inventory and coordinate promotional item orders.
- Help manage the marketing calendar to ensure deadlines are met for campaigns
- and events.
- Track and report on marketing and event performance metrics.
Administrative & Team Support (20%)
- Provide administrative support to the marketing team, including expense
- tracking, vendor communications, and scheduling.
- Assist with project management by maintaining organized files, timelines, and
- reports.
- Support cross-department initiatives to enhance customer experience and brand
- consistency.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in marketing, events, or a related field (internship
- experience considered).
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects
- simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms.
- Availability to work some evenings and weekends for events.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for local travel.
