Responsibilities
Conduct thorough inspections of products using an open plate setup.
Execute existing CMM programs to include trouble shooting program to ensure the integrity of the measurements.
Identify and document defects or non-conformities in products.
Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues.
Ensure equipment is calibrated, validated and maintained properly.
Maintain accurate records of inspections and test results.
Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures.
Participate in regular quality audits and assessments.
Provide feedback and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in quality control is a plus.
5-8 years of inspection and manufacturing experience.
Experience executing CMM programs is required.
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and specifications.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Familiarity with quality control tools and methodologies.
Proficient in using measurement and testing equipment.
You should be proficient in:
- GD&T
- Quality Inspection Experience
- Blueprint Reading
Machines & technologies you'll use:
- Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) (Zeiss, Hexagon, Faro)
- Measurement Gauges
- Quality Control Software (PC-DMIS, Calypso)
