ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF SPRING MUSICAL

QUALIFICATIONS:      1.   Kentucky Certificate with proper endorsements.

1. Such additional qualifications as the Superintendent or Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

REPORTS:                   Director of Spring Musical, Principal

SUPERVISES:             Not Applicable

JOB GOAL:                  To assist the Director of the Spring Musical. 

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES

Assists the Director as directed, including but not limited to:

1. Collaborates with Director of Music Programs, and Set Coordinator, in preparation of musical program.
2. Serves as instrumental accompanist as needed.
3. Plans schedules, organizes and attends practices and performances; publicizes performances and events.
4. Supervises assigned students immediately before, during, and after practices, performances and during required travel.
5. Maintains professional conduct serving as a role model when representing the district during school functions and activities.
6. Performs such other tasks and assumes such other responsibilities as may be assigned by the Director of Spring Musical, Principal, or the Superintendent.

TERM OF SERVICE:              Salary and workdays to be established by the Board.

EVALUATION:                         Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board’s policy on Evaluation of Certified Personnel.
