Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist or hygienist during a variety of treatment procedures, help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment, and provide excellent patient care.
Duties:
- Assist the dentist or hygienist during a variety of treatment procedures
- Set up and prepare equipment and instruments
- Sterilize instruments according to regulations
- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
- Take dental x-rays
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Schedule patient appointments
- Assist with dental billing and coding
Skills:
- Proficiency in four-handed dentistry techniques
- Experience with medical records and documentation
- Knowledge of prosthodontics procedures
- Familiarity with medical imaging systems
- Understanding of general dentistry practices
- Ability to work with pediatric patients
- Strong anatomy knowledge for dental procedures
