Job Description :
We are seeking an experienced SAP MDG Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) solutions. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders to ensure high-quality master data processes and governance across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and implement SAP MDG solutions for master data domains (e.g. Customer, Vendor, Material, Finance).
- Analyze current master data processes and identify improvement opportunities through SAP MDG.
- Collaborate with business users, SAP functional consultants, and technical teams to gather requirements and provide scalable solutions.
- Manage data modeling, data replication, workflows, and data validation rules in SAP MDG.
- Perform testing, training, and documentation of the MDG solution.
- Support integration between SAP MDG and other SAP modules (like ECC, S/4HANA, CRM).
- Ensure compliance with data governance policies and best practices.
- Provide post-implementation support and troubleshoot SAP MDG-related issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 3 years of experience in SAP Master Data Governance implementation/support.
- Strong understanding of SAP master data domains (Customer, Vendor, Material, etc.).
- Hands-on experience in MDG configuration, data modeling, BRF , UI modeling, and workflow setup.
- Experience with data replication (SOA, ALE, IDoc) and data quality tools.
- Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA and integration with external systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience in data migration and cleansing activities is a plus.
- Knowledge of SAP Fiori apps for MDG is an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications:
- SAP MDG certification.
- Experience with SAP Data Services, Information Steward, or other MDM tools.
- Prior experience working in global SAP rollouts or upgrade projects.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
