Lab Assistant

Red Oak Medical Clinic is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Lab Assistant to join our team. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

-Perform routine lab tasks such as cleaning and sterilizing equipment, maintaining inventory, and ordering supplies.

-Collect, label, and process lab specimens.

-Maintain accurate records of results in lab notebooks or digital systems.

-Assist in the maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.

-Follow safety protocols and ensure the laboratory is compliant with all safety regulations.

Qualifications:

-High school diploma or equivalent required.

-Previous experience in a lab setting preferred.

-Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.

-Basic knowledge of laboratory safety practices and procedures.

-Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

-Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

-Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and technologies.
