What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Company / Laborer Position / Carpentry Apprentice position at MCM Construction?
A 30 year old Construction Company needs a talented self-motivated construction laborer. We have a solid group of employees that work very closely together in creating some of the nicest work in the Lake Oswego & Portland Area. If you take pride in your work we would like to talk to you. We are not looking for just anyone, we are looking for someone willing to work everyday, be part of a team and help solve problems. Other job duties would be.
- At least 1 year of labor/carpentry experience.
- Understanding of custom construction work & problem solving.
- Must be able to work as a team with others and take direction.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
- We work on the waterfront, boating knowledge and safety are helpful.
- Maybe self-directed at times and have the ability to handle several ongoing projects at one time.
- Able to drive truck with trailer and box truck.
- A valid driver’s license and transportation are required.
This is a nonsmoking / drug free company that requires both a drug test and a DMV check. A good driving record is required by our insurance company. This is a full time position and pay is depending on experience.
