We're hiring a B2B Technical Sales Representative to serve and grow our customer base across the manufacturing space. You'll get an inside look at how things are actually made and help our customers make them better. Blending lead generation, customer success, and technical support, you'll build meaningful relationships with customers from first contact through sampling, trials, and ongoing support. You'll work shoulder-to-shoulder with our R&D team and customers, solving complex manufacturing challenges in real time.
If you are a “learn-it-all” and prefer variety over a rigid sales script, this is the business development role for you.
This might be you if...
· First and foremost, you are a team player – you are focused on making the whole pie bigger, not just your slice.
· You are a “learn-it-all,” a curious self-starter – this is a proactive role.
· You enjoy variety and thrive on iteration – change and challenges do not scare you.
· You're a confident communicator, in writing, on the phone, and in person – you can talk to anyone about anything.
· You do not want to sit at a desk every day – you’re as happy on the production floor or in a room full of people as you are on the phone.
· You are patient enough to nurture a relationship for months (or longer) without losing momentum – you know that big wins take time and teamwork.
To succeed in this role, you must:
· Have a bachelor’s degree in chemistry, engineering, business, or a related field – or equivalent hands-on manufacturing and/or technical sales experience.
· Be willing to travel up to 30% of the year, including overnight travel to customer sites and trade shows.
· Be able to occasionally lift up to 45 lbs. (product samples, trade show materials, etc.).
· Have a working knowledge of Microsoft 365, including word and excel.
· Have a valid driver's license
Stand-out Candidates will have one or more of the following:
· Four or more years of direct experience in B2B technical, industrial, or specialty chemical sales – or strong chemical, manufacturing, or engineering experience with a demonstrated ability to sell.
· You have an advanced degree in chemistry, engineering, or a related field.
· Professional or native fluency in a second language.
· Experience contributing to marketing and technical content (data sheets, case studies, web copy).
· A working knowledge of HubSpot or other CRM software.
Residency Requirement:
This position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States and must be a current resident of – or be relocating to – one of the following counties in Pennsylvania: Philadelphia, Montgomery, Chester, or Delaware.
Responsibilities:

• Continually build your own technical knowledge of our products, materials, and the industries we serve.
• Align sales activities with current company goals and priorities.

• Coordinate samples, trials, and quotation conversations through to a closed deal.
• Maintain accurate, timely records of accounts and deals in our CRM.
• Represent the company and brand at industry trade shows and on customer visits.
Customer Success & Technical Support
