What are the responsibilities and job description for the Living Room Program Staff (Full-Time) position at McLean County Center for Human Services?
The CENTER for Human Services, a leading provider of behavioral health care services, is seeking Living Room Program Staff (Full-Time).
Responsibilities:
- Complete screenings, on-site support, and short-term follow-up
- Complete other assessments as clinically appropriate
- Provide linkage and distribution of information on community resources to clients
- Develop collaborative working relationships with community agencies, homeless shelters, therapists, physicians, and law enforcement personnel
- Work schedule may vary depending on shift, as this is a 24/7 program
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related human service field OR
Certified Recovery Support Specialist (CRSS) designation with the State of Illinois or the ability to obtain credentialing within one year of hire.
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Must have reliable transportation and a valid Illinois driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with recovery-oriented practices, peer recovery support, and crisis respite
- Knowledge of community resources
- One year of work or volunteer experience in behavioral health or crisis intervention
Salary Range: $19.00 - $24.00 hourly
