What are the responsibilities and job description for the Equipment Operator position at McLaughlin Corp LLC (MC Build)?
We are seeking a long-term candidate who values the close-knit atmosphere of a small, family-owned company to work locally around McDowell County.
The ideal candidate will be a skilled equipment operator to run large excavator, dozer, mini ex and skid steers - who is capable of handling all phases of residential site grading — from tree removal and lot clearing to finish grading. Responsibilities include mechanical knowledge, meticulous equipment care, routine maintenance, greasing, and cleaning.
We’re looking for someone reliable, and proud of their work — someone who treats company equipment as if it were their own. Hours are somewhat flexible. A valid driver’s license is required, along with the ability to transport equipment (non-CDL) between job sites CDL's are a plus.
The candidate must demonstrate strong work ethic, the ability to manage laborers effectively, and a positive attitude.
This is a 1099 subcontractor position (paid via 1099 tax form).
