What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technician- McLarty Collision West position at McLarty Automotive Group, LLC?
Collision Mechanic specializing in the diagnostics of electrical issues and suspension/steering system of all makes and models.
- Diagnose problems with suspension and steering using diagnostic equipment and test driving.
- Repair/replacing damaged or worn suspension components as per manufacturer specifications such as shock absorbers, struts, knee assemblies, control arms, subframes.
- Alignments based on manufacturers’ specifications.
- Test driving vehicles to ensure suspension and steering issues are resolved.
- Mount & balance wheels/tires.
- Manage and maintain safety logs on Lifts, Wheel balancer and alignment machines.
- Perform diagnostics on electrical/mechanical fault codes.
- Replace/R&I Airbags, Headliners, Control Modules.
