Position Summary:
Prepares patients and transports patients to and from Radiology.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
1. Prepares patients for transport and transports patient to and from all modalities within Diagnostic Imaging
2. Moves patients from bed to stretcher or wheelchair within department
3. Changes linen on stretchers and cleans equipment
4. Assists with outpatient changing examinations
5. Interacts with patients while awaiting examinations
6. Performs other department related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Required:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- BLS certification within 6 months of hire
Preferred:
- Previous experience/training in patient transportation techniques
