Job Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- After review of blue prints or sketches/drawings of assignment, accurately estimates quantity and type of materials needed for plumbing work to be performed.
- Install, maintain, modify and repair all plumbing systems and associated plumbing equipment.
- Inspect, test, maintain and repair water, steam disposal, oxygen, vacuum, and natural gas systems.
- Adhere to current rules and regulations related to plumbing so that systems pass inspection the first time.
- Complete work orders, record material utilized on jobs and other required documentation.
- May also perform general maintenance and repair tasks as required.
- Perform other related duties as required and directed.
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Training beyond high school in related programs/advanced training in plumbing.
- Minimum of four years of related experience.
- Journeyman’s plumber license.
- Valid State driver's license.
- Driving record must be within the approved insurance company’s regulations.
- Previous experience in health care industry.
