Position Summary

Responsible for administration and management of services and personnel in all nursing units in collaboration with or in the absence of Administration and Nurse Managers. Demonstrates a leadership role in the coordination of patient care through the appropriate utilization of all resources: staff, equipment, supplies, etc. Oversees the placement of patients using expert planning and critical thinking skills. Is a clinical resource to both the nursing staff and physicians.
