You will play a key role in supporting our production goals while following all GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice), FDA regulations, and safety protocols.
Role and Responsibilities
Employee will be responsible for removing chilled product from the line, placing the correct number of pouches carefully into each case, and ensuring each case receives a date code, label, and is taped correctly.
- Ensure finished product to be packed is within the acceptable temperature range.
- Construct, stamp, tape, and label boxes as necessary.
- Inspect product pouches and cases for damage, pinholes, bad seals, and incorrect or missing coding.
- Place the correct number of pouches into each box.
- Ensure batch segregation by completing one batch before moving to the next batch.
- Maintain a clean work area.
- Sweep, clean, remove trash, and remove inedible materials as necessary.
- Perform additional responsibilities as instructed by the Pack-off Lead, Production Line Lead, or Production Supervisor.
- Adhere to all plant GMPs and safety guidelines.
Skills and Requirements
· HS Diploma or Equivalent.
· Be able to stand for extended periods of time.
· Be able to stoop, bend and climb steps.
· Be able to Lift 20-70 lbs.
· Be able to work in warehouse environment that may be cold or hot, depending on season during 8 hour shift.
· Basic literacy skills (English) – to read product code information.
· Allergen training required.
Additional Notes
May be required to assist pack-off lead with associated paperwork, pack boxes, operate date coder and tape and label machine
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
