Role Overview
McLain & Merritt is seeking a motivated associate with 1–4 years of experience to join our dynamic Real Estate practice. This is a full-time, on-site position based in our Buckhead office in Atlanta, Georgia, offering the opportunity to work alongside a team of experienced professionals.
In this role, the Real Estate Attorney will represent a diverse range of clients—including lenders, homebuilders and developers—including both commercial and residential real estate matters. Responsibilities will include conducting real estate closings in the firm’s multiple offices.
The Skills Needed To Be Effective In This Role
- 1-4 years of real estate transactional experience including residential closings and drafting documents
- JD from an accredited law school
- Admitted to the State Bar of Georgia
- Strong marketing and interpersonal skills including the ability to develop relationships with colleagues, clients and industry partners
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- A commitment to client service and team success
