We are seeking a SAP FICO Consultant to join our team in Edison, NJ. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO), including configuration, support, enhancements, and business process optimization. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders to analyze requirements, implement solutions, and support SAP Finance operations.
< style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: small;">Responsibilities- Configure and support SAP FI and CO modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Bank Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, and Internal Orders.
- Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
- Perform system configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
- Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure integration with SAP MM, SD, PP, and other modules.
- Prepare functional specifications and collaborate with technical teams on developments and enhancements.
- Conduct user training and provide ongoing support to business users.
- Participate in SAP implementation, upgrade, migration, and support projects.
- Create and maintain project documentation, process flows, and training materials.
- Strong experience with SAP FI and CO configuration and support.
- Experience with financial accounting processes, controlling, and reporting.
- Knowledge of integration points between FICO and other SAP modules.
- Experience in requirements gathering, testing, and user support.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
