Seasonal Furniture Sales Associate

About the Role:
McKinnon Home Furnishings is looking for friendly, motivated, and customer-focused individuals to join our team for the busy holiday season. As a Seasonal Furniture Sales Associate, you’ll help customers find the perfect pieces for their homes, assist with financing options, and ensure a positive shopping experience from start to finish.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist with product selection and inquiries
- Learn and communicate product features, benefits, and promotions
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain showroom appearance and merchandising standards
- Support store events, promotions, and special sales initiatives
- Work collaboratively with the sales and warehouse teams
Qualifications:
- Prior retail or sales experience preferred (furniture experience a plus)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Basic computer and point-of-sale (POS) skills
- Flexible schedule availability during weekends and holidays
