Your Day-to-day Will Include
- This person will work in a project team setting to develop electrical installation prefab shop drawings with the use of Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.
- Drawings will include power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and telecommunication systems for multi-discipline projects (residential, commercial, healthcare, and education facilities).
- Produce floor plans, 3D views, interior elevations, schedules, and sheets per project requirements.
- Use Microsoft Excel to create production documents for assembly and installation.
- Prepare drawings for various members of the project team.
- Coordinate with others outside of the project team as necessary for project development.
- High school diploma or GED and college level CAD classes.
- Associate’s degree in Computer-Aided Drafting, Engineering Technology, or similar preferred.
- Experience using Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.
- 1-5 years of experience working in an engineering or MEP environment preferred.
- Must be methodical, precise, and consistent but can adapt to some variety in work schedule.
- Enjoys working alone when required but can work effectively within a project team.
- Can communicate effectively and good technical skills are required.
- Requires a valid driver's license and an acceptable motor vehicle and criminal record.
