Minimum Requirements
- Degree or equivalent and typically requires 4 years of relevant experience
Key Responsibilities
- Forecast and manage logistical operational needs of high priority supply needs for distribution center operations based on expected volume in an ambiguous production environment
- Research alternate vendors and materials. Partner with the sourcing and procurement team to make these vendors and materials available in order to meet the needs of DC Operations.
- Support ongoing DC operations by providing direct oversight of team members and/or work areas when needed.
- Develop strategy for managing operational supply inventory controls and stocking level reporting to ensure supply inventory accuracy and accountability.
- Responsible for monitoring and managing operational supplies in support of day-to-day distribution center operations for all Specialty Distribution Centers.
- Works closely with consumable supplies leaders to ensure stocking levels are maintained to agreed upon levels and proactively prompt the ordering of replenishment items needed.
- Monitor and oversee the on-hand inventory and timely ordering of operational supplies to ensure zero customer impact.
- Reports any material discrepancies discovered to key stakeholders within the distribution center operations team(s).
