Current Need The Senior Manager, Finance Transformation will be part of the Finance Operations team reporting to the Director of Project Management. This individual will be responsible for working with key executive leaders within the Finance and Technology organizations to plan and deliver strategic transformation initiatives that drive business value for the organization. This individual must be highly collaborative, skilled at process development and implementation, possess strong project management skills, and demonstrate the ability to lead and influence change. This person must also be able to communicate with a broad range of constituents, execute through influence at multiple levels of the organization including senior levels, and be comfortable leading sensitive discussions. The person must also be able to perform in ambiguous situations and create the structure needed to drive desired business results. Additional responsibilities include: Partners with Executives and Leaders to design solutions to solve business problems Translates strategic finance and accounting objectives into program approach, objectives, and plan Serves as day-to-day lead for project teams with responsibility for project deliverables and outcomes Establishes, coordinates, and executes project management infrastructure (detailed project plan, dashboards, RAID log, standing meeting cadences, etc.) for projects leveraging standardized Finance Operations model and best practices Manages and facilitates key project meetings with project team members, stakeholders, and sponsors including the development and refinement of executive caliber materials Assesses and manages project risks/issues including development of resolutions to meet project goals Oversees and manages project budget from approval and contracting through invoice approval and tracking Manages the integration of vendor tasks, and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables Analyzes project data and tracks / reports on project status for management team Identifies dependencies with other programs and develops mitigating solutions as needed Drives change management and communication strategies in alignment with best practices. Minimum Requirements 5 - 8 years of experience in designing, delivering, and managing transformation programs and business solutions. Experience in change management and leading through influence. Critical Skills Build and manage a project plan and scope that successfully monitors and guides large-scale strategic projects Comfortable responding to and adapting within constantly evolving environments while managing several time-sensitive priorities Effectively communicate with senior levels of management (written and oral) across multiple departments and business units Sense of personal ownership and commitment for the successful execution of areas of responsibility Quickly earn the trust of project team members, stakeholders, and sponsors through preparation, professionalism, organization, and consistency Assess and tailor approach to leaders preferred working styles and preferences based on observations and explicit feedback Ability to work autonomously overseeing multiple projects at varying stages Strong analytical skills with demonstrated financial and business planning skills. Additional Knowledge & Skills Proficient in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel Demonstrated success facilitating meetings to gain consensus/resolution Quickly process information and make difficult decisions Experience in Smartsheet design and management Proven track record of driving change and execution. Education 4-year degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field MBA or relevant graduate degree preferred. Certifications/Licensure PMP Certification, preferred Six Sigma Certification or training, preferred CPA License, preferred Change Management Certification or training, preferred.
