Job title: Mulesoft Platform Architect
Job Description
Coordinates Platform implementation activities. Has accountability for the evolution of the platform, ensuring required availability and support levels are achieved. Owns the platform roadmap consisting of Anypoint platform & core services, reusable assets, API Lifecycle automation, API portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply core software engineering development skills to lead design and development to build integration capabilities and process between application in a hybrid (on-prem & cloud) environment
- Strong strategic business acumen and understanding of organization strategy and ability to design IT systems to delivery that strategy.
- Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for MuleSoft's provisioning product
- Define and document best practices and standards related to MuleSoft platform usage, deployments, Operations and Maintenance.
- Demonstrated Critical thinking ability including the ability to define a problem, frame it for a broad audience and collaborate with others to formulate solutions
- Design and develop new Integration architecture patterns like synchronous and asynchronous communication, API’s, event/message-based integration using modern integration technologies.
- Work with cross functional teams on understanding the requirements for integration, designing, and developing the integrations.
- Think holistically and build integration as framework and reusable assets for broader usage.
- Build the integration code set for easy maintainability, supportability and for operational effectiveness.
- Leverage strong knowledge and experience on the MuleSoft platform to perform hands-on technical design and coding, delivering highly functional API led integration solutions
- Work closely work with the Business & other application teams in designing robust and scalable integration solutions to meet those need using MuleSoft Integration Suite
- Leverage their expertise in MuleSoft platform components including API Manager, Runtime Manager, Cloud Hub components, and Any Point Studio.
- Work with junior members of the team and be a mentor for them for any design/development related issues
Minimum Qualifications
- Overall 10 Years of Industry experience with a minimum of 4 years of experience in using of MuleSoft architecture and full lifecycle implementation of MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, API Management and Messaging. (RTF, Cloudhub, On-Prem)
- Proven leadership abilities including effective knowledge sharing, conflict resolution, facilitation of open discussions, fairness and displaying appropriate levels of assertiveness.
- Deep understanding of modern system Architecture Strategies, Integration architectural design patterns like synchronous, asynchronous, batch and real-time integration patterns.
- Experience on architecture, design, development of enterprise-grade Integration platform.
- Understanding of cloud concepts including IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and iPaaS
- Expert in one of either Azure, GCP or AWS.
- Knowledge of setting up cloud VPCs, peering, CIDR ranges, L4 and L7 load balancers.
- Configurations related to MuleSoft Cloud (CloudHub, On Premises, API Manager, Policy, SLAs, Load Balancer Configuration, VPC, VPN etc.) experience is must.
- Understanding how to configure and administer application monitoring tools to assist with troubleshooting (e.g. ELK or Dynatrace) preferred.
- Understanding of local and wide area networks, protocol and simple network troubleshooting preferred.
- Experience writing scripts in any language (ex: PowerShell, Unix Shell Scripting, Python, Perl, etc.)
- Hands-on experience on setting and administrating Kubernetes clusters, policies, ingress controllers.
- Understanding of DevOps / CI / CD
- Proponent of Infrastructure as a code. Hands on experience with Ansible/Terraform.
- Understanding of security concepts such as identity management, authentication, authorization
- Hands-on experience in developing stream and event processing applications using Open source technologies like Apache Kafka, Confluent, Apache Flink, Apache Spark etc.to enable real time integration between disparate systems.
- Certified in MuleSoft is added advantage is a plus.
- Should have sound written and verbal Communication Interpersonal skills
- Experience with Middleware integration, Services Oriented Architecture and RESTful architecture and web services development
- A passion to make a lasting impact to meaningfully advance the technology assets of the corporation.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Sciences or Engineering. Master’s preferred.

Our Base Pay Range for this position
