The Role You'll Play
You will be part of our operations team as a Sr Manager of Operations, reporting to the Director of Operations. Your responsibilities will include managing operational activities across various functional departments, distribution centers, and/or facilities.
Review and analyze reports, records, and directives to plan activities, such as new commitments, status of work in progress, and problems encountered.
Supervise personnel responsible for quality, continuous improvement, training, and projects.
Develop and manage a continuous improvement culture utilizing Lean Six Sigma tools and methodology to solve problems.
Enhance customer satisfaction levels through investigations of concerns to root cause and communicate findings.
Maintain compliance with government requirements (FDA, OSHA) and regulatory requirements (McKesson safety, security, regulatory assessments).
Your Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
9 years of professional experience and 1 years of supervisory and/or management experience.
7 years of distribution operation experience; 3-5 years' of progressive work experience in QC/QA and process improvement is preferred.
A designated representative license for the state of California is a strong asset.
Six Sigma certification and/or experience in other lean process management programs is a strong asset.
Intermediate computer proficiency in the MS Office suite.
Experience with WMS (or other transportation, inventory, and shipping systems), SAP, labor management systems, ADP, and Workday are all strongly preferred.
