Responsible for new account development and expanding existing accounts classified as e-Commerce using phone and other electronic means. This role is a part of the Sales & Strategic Development team within McKesson Medical Surgical. Our team's mission is to help Med Surgical maintain market leadership. We do this by providing exceptional value through the use of sales analytics, tools, technology, and training.
Key Responsibilities:
Prospect Conversion
- Sell company products via telephone and through other electronic means
- Generate prospective customers and close sales through cold calling prospect lists and inactive or win-back accounts
- Keeps up-to-date knowledge of the industry and vendor products/offerings with vendor site visits and other means, as well as the competitive posture of the Company
- Exercises judgment with defined procedures to determine appropriate action
- Displays thorough knowledge of company products and value-added programs
- Prepare quotes and negotiate sales transactions
Existing Expansion
- Perform tasks listed above while identifying opportunities to grow sales and capitalize on opportunities within existing customers
Maintain
- Focused on clinical support for products, education of business tools/support and sales history analysis to recommend tools
Minimum Requirements
1 years relevant experience
Critical Skills
- Intermediate MS Office expertise (Excel- pivots, VLOOKUPS)
Education
4-year degree in finance or related field or equivalent experience.
