Registered Nurse - Clinical Informatics Specialist
Hourly Base Rate: $39.78 - $55.70
Shift: Days
Hours Per Week: 40 hours/week plus monthly on-call rotation

Job Summary:
- Responsible for the overall implementation, functionality and support for the Nursing and Physician applications under the organization’s IT portfolio.
- This includes build and support of applications, on-going maintenance, testing/training, and monitoring performance and functionality of the Nursing/Physician products to include but not limited to the following: Medhost Physician and Nursing modules, Exit Care, DynaMed, ePrescribe, Order Sets, Physician Documentation, WAFM.
- Possible outreach to physician offices.
Qualifications:
- BS in Nursing required.
- Master’s in Informatics or MSN preferred.
- 1-3 years in a Healthcare IT environment required.
- 1-3 years Nursing experience required. Inpatient setting preferred.
- Demonstrated, deep knowledge of the community-based, healthcare environment.
- Strong clinical knowledge and experience.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills required.
- Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, V-lookup’s, etc.) and the Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong team player with a “can/will do” attitude with a willingness to mentor others.
