Position Details:

• Shift: PRN; minimum of 8hrs per pay period
• Hours: Varied
• Call shifts are optional, but encouraged
• SEIU Local 49 represented position

Job Summary: 

• Under the supervision of the Diagnostics Imaging management team, the X-ray Technologist performs general radiographic, fluoroscopic, operative, emergency and portable procedures.
• As part of this, the Technician utilizes sound judgment in selection of exposure factors, film and appropriate patient care, safety and infection control practices.
• Must demonstrate competency in the operation of all equipment, quality control and clerical tasks required to carry out duties.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of Accredited Radiology Technology program.
• Associates degree preferred.
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification or Registry Eligible and must pass ARRT within 60 days of hire.
• Current State of Oregon License.
• BLS certification required.
• Prefer experience as a Radiology Technologist in a Hospital Setting.
