Patient Transporter - PRN

Position Details:
- Hourly Base Rate: $19.02 - $24.22 10% resource differential
- Shift: PRN
- Hours: 10 hour variable shifts
- Routine weekend shift responsibility
- SEIU Local 49 represented position

Job Summary:
- Under the general supervision of the DI Director, transports patients between the DI department and other hospital areas.
- Performs general cleaning as needed, including sanitizing transport equipment after each use.
- Performs clerical duties as assigned in the Department and assists with stocking supplies.
- Works under the direct supervision of on-duty technologists, within job limits, when management is not present.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- BLS certification required within 60 days of hire.
- Must be able to read, write and speak English.
- Previous experience working in health-related field using medical terminology is preferred. Certified Nurses Aid (CNA) training preferred, but not required.
