McKenzie Feed & Pet Supply is looking for a friendly, outgoing, hardworking person to join our Main Street crew in Springfield!
We're a locally owned pet and feed store where we love getting to know our customers (and their pets!), solving problems, and having a little fun along the way.
We're looking for someone who's built for retail!
You know the type. Someone who genuinely enjoys talking to people, loves a busy day, and doesn't need to be told to go check on a customer or find something productive to do.
Someone who can make a customer feel welcome, help them find just the right food for their dog, and still be smiling when the next customer walks through the door!
A few things we're looking for:
A genuine love for animals, especially dogs and cats!
An outgoing, friendly personality. You actually LIKE talking to people!
Previous customer-facing work experience is required. We're looking for someone who's already learned the ropes!
A willingness to get your hands dirty! This job involves regularly carrying 25–40 lb bags of pet food out to customers' cars, with occasional heavier lifting, including hay bales up to 90 lbs, using safe handling practices.
Someone who takes initiative, works hard, and enjoys being part of a team.
Weekend availability is required.
Here's what we offer:
$17–$22/hour, depending on experience
20–34 hours per week
