What you will do:

• Perform outpatient and inpatient registration functions.
• Provide general information to hospital users, patients, and families.
• Ensures that patients meet financial requirements or help in payment plan.
• Provide excellent patient focused customer service.
• Communicate effectively to service delivery areas to maximize patient flow and customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Customer Service/Information Desk
• Up-Front Collections/Cashier
• Emergency Department Registration
• Outpatient Registration
• Outpatient Surgery and Special Procedure
• Inpatient & Observation Registration
• Insurance Verification

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• A minimum of 1 years' experience in healthcare or customer service setting is preferred.
• Clear, effective communication skills
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Detail orientated.
• Experience required in one or more of these settings:
  • Customer Service Setting
  • Hospital or Medical Office Setting
• Skills in using Professional Computers and computer applications.
• Duties as assigned.
