The Role 

We are looking for a creative, highly motivated, and organized Publisher/Editor to join our growing team. This internship offers hands-on experience in digital marketing, content creation, and multimedia distribution. If you have a passion for storytelling, a knack for engaging social media audiences, and an interest in the business of franchising, we want to hear from you! 

Key Responsibilities 

• Website Content Creation: Research, write, and publish engaging articles, blog posts, and news updates for franchisemarketingnews.com. Ensure all content is SEO-friendly and aligns with our brand voice.
• Social Media Management: Create compelling copy and visual assets for our social media channels (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram). Schedule posts and engage with our online community to drive brand awareness and traffic.
• Podcast Distribution: Manage the distribution and promotion of the Franchise Whispering podcast. This includes writing show notes, uploading episodes to hosting platforms, creating promotional audiograms/graphics, and pushing the content across all our digital channels.
• Content Strategy: Participate in editorial meetings, brainstorm new content ideas, and help develop campaigns to grow our digital footprint.
• Analytics & Reporting: Monitor and report on the performance of website content, social media posts, and podcast episodes to help optimize future strategies.

Requirements & Qualifications 

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a strong eye for proofreading and editing.
• Familiarity with major social media platforms and social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social).
• Basic understanding of content management systems (e.g., WordPress) and SEO best practices.
• Interest in podcasting; experience with podcast hosting/distribution platforms is a major plus!
• A self-starter mentality with the ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work independently in a remote environment.
