### Position Overview
The ideal candidate will have strong experience preparing business tax returns and be comfortable working independently. This position is a great opportunity for an experienced CPA who enjoys working with small businesses and wants flexible, part-time work without the need for constant supervision.
### Responsibilities
* Prepare accurate and timely business tax returns for small-business clients
* Review financial records and identify potential tax issues or discrepancies
* Work closely with bookkeeping records to ensure tax returns are complete and accurate
* Communicate professionally regarding questions or additional documentation needed
* Maintain confidentiality of all client financial and tax information
* Stay current with applicable federal and state tax laws and regulations
* Meet agreed-upon deadlines and maintain a high level of accuracy
* Work independently and manage assigned tax projects from start to finish
### Qualifications
Required:
* Active CPA license
* Prior professional experience preparing **business tax returns**
* Strong understanding of small-business taxation
* Ability to complete tax returns independently with minimal supervision
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
* Strong organizational and time-management skills
* Professional communication skills
* Ability to work collaboratively while independently managing assigned clients
