Summary
Under direct supervision, assists with daily living activities at the person's home, in a daytime non-residential facility or a residential facility. Observes and monitors client's behavior and charts observations and incidents. Provides training of basic personal and social skills, simple academics, or work skills to consumers/students in hospital, residence, group home, workshop, or supported employment environment.
Responsibilities
- Ensures that all applicable services are authorized prior to rendering services.
- Demonstrates competence in direct service work with individuals and or their family members.
- Follow through on individual treatment plans and interventions. Seek consultation and supervision in cases and participate in staffing for Peer referrals.
- Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Certified Peer Specialist or person with two years abstinence in recovery and eligible for becoming a CARES within a year.
- Note: Some positions require a valid Georgia's Driver's License.
