McIntosh Box and Pallet is hiring for 1st and 2nd Shift Assemblers in Rome, NY!
We are looking for hard working individuals with excellent attention to detail and a mechanical aptitude to join our team as 1st and 2nd Shift Assemblers in Rome, NY.
Hours
6am to 2:30pm Monday to Friday
2:30pm to 11pm Monday to Friday
Pay: $18 to $21 per hour depending on experience
An Assembler will be responsible for accurately assembling pallets and crates per customers specifications and following detailed diagrams. This individual will be responsible for working with wood processing equipment to cut and build materials.

Assembler's Job Responsibilities
- Assemble pallets and crates for customers using nail guns
- Read and understand drawing and diagrams to build pallets and crates
- Utilize a variety of hand tools
- Responsible for communicating lumber needs ahead of time to best plan assembly schedule
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace

Requirements
- Comfortable with fast-paced and changing priorities
- Operate various manufacturing equipment
- Good eye/hand coordination
- Willing to perform repetitive tasks
- Ability to read a tape measure, have basic math and computer skills
- Lift, push and/or pull 50 lbs., stand, walk, bend and kneel throughout the entire shift
- Preferred experience with lumber processing equipment and forklifts
Salary : $18 - $21
