Schedule: Monday to Friday 6am to 3pm
Pay Rate: $20 based on experience

- Operate and lead sawmill cutting operations, including primary and secondary saws used in pallet
- Supervise and support all sawmill employees, ensuring proper training
- Schedule daily and weekly cutting operations based on pallet production needs
- Read and interpret production specifications to maximize lumber
- Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs
- Comply with company policies and safety guidelines
- Identify workplace safety hazards
- Assist team members in the yard and on the floor as needed
- Special projects as assigned
- Previous experience as a sawyer in a sawmill or pallet manufacturing operation
- Strong working knowledge of sawmill equipment and lumber processing
- Experience in leading or training employees in a production environment
- Ability to manage production schedules and prioritize workload
- Understanding safety procedures related to sawmill and heavy equipment operations
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and efficiency
- High degree of attention and detail required to prevent injury to others; promote a safe work
- Follow instructions for operating equipment and keeping records
- Execute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe manner
- Maintain a clean & safe environment
