This is a full-time, on-site role based in Charlotte, NC, for an Associate Attorney specializing in family law. Responsibilities include representing clients in legal proceedings, providing sound legal advice, conducting legal research, preparing legal documents, and managing case strategies. The Associate Attorney will also engage in negotiations, communicate with clients, and work collaboratively within a team environment to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
- Proficiency in Family Law and related areas, such as Divorce, Child Custody, and Property Division
- Experience in Labor and Employment Law practices
- Strong skills in providing effective Legal Advice and managing client relationships
- Advanced Research abilities and the capability to analyze legal precedents
- Proven Negotiation skills to advocate effectively for clients
- Licensed attorney in the state of North Carolina (or eligibility for licensure)
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Prior experience in family law is a plus
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
