This is a full-time, on-site role for an Estimator located in Burnsville, MN. The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for construction projects, including material and labor calculations. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing project specifications, analyzing blueprints, collaborating with project managers, and communicating with suppliers and subcontractors. The role also involves ensuring that estimates are completed on time and align with project goals.
- Experience in cost estimation, project planning, and budget management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Proficiency in estimation software and general computer skills; familiarity with construction management tools is a plus
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with team members, suppliers, and clients
- Attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- Previous experience in the construction or drywall/painting industry is a strong advantage
