In this role, you'll combine customer service, administrative support, and optical expertise to guide patients through every stage of their eye care experience.
What You'll Do
- Welcome and assist patients with professionalism, warmth, and excellent customer service.
- Schedule appointments, verify insurance, and assist with patient registration.
- Educate patients on insurance benefits, patient portal enrollment, and clinic processes.
- Assist patients in selecting eyeglass frames, lenses, and optical accessories that fit their prescription, lifestyle, and personal preferences.
- Submit optical laboratory orders and insurance claims while maintaining accurate documentation.
- Fit, adjust, and dispense glasses while educating patients on proper wear and care.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of frames, lenses, supplies, and optical equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming optical and reception area.

Requirements
- High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in an optical setting.
- Knowledge of optical products, including frames, lenses, coatings, and accessories.
- Understanding of eyeglass measurements, fitting techniques, and optical terminology.
Preferred Qualifications
- Spanish language skills, fluent
- Current ABO certification.
