About the Role:
As our Quality Improvement Program Manager, you’ll take the lead in developing and executing strategies that enhance performance across key quality measures such as HEDIS and UDS. In this vital leadership role, you’ll manage a team of care coordinators and work closely with internal departments, healthcare providers, and external partners to ensure quality programs are hitting the mark. You will also be responsible for collaborating with peer groups to share and bring best practices to execution within MCHC. You will be instrumental in driving a Quality Culture.
What You’ll Do:
- Design and implement quality improvement strategies aligned with regulatory and contractual standards.
- Lead multi-faceted projects and interventions to enhance patient outcomes and provider performance.
- Drive Outreach efforts to close care gaps across Preventative Measures across MediCal, Medicare and other segments.
- Engage as the Subject Matter Expert in projects covering quality measure requirements, insurance eligibility and clinical guidelines.
- Analyze data from multiple sources to identify trends, opportunities, and improvement strategies.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on quality measures (e.g., HEDIS, MCAS, NCQA), and stay current on changing regulations.
- Collaborate with Care Teams and Providers to improve performance across Key Quality Measures and enhance Incentives.
- Present key findings and actionable insights to internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Population Health, Community Health, and Case Management teams to close social determinant of health gaps.
- Represent MCHC in peer collaboratives and champion best practices in quality transformation.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Starting salary range: $80,000 – $102,800 annually, based on experience

Requirements
What You Bring:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage and motivate teams
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills across diverse teams
Preferred:
- 3 years in quality improvement in a healthcare setting
- Strong familiarity with Medicaid and quality program methodologies like PDSA and root cause analysis
- Strategic thinker with a track record of executing successful improvement initiatives
- Knowledge of regulatory bodies like CMS, DHCS, and NCQA
