Licensed Therapist (Primary Care Setting)

Mendocino Community Health Center (MCHC) has an opening for a licensed therapist to join our team providing therapy services in a primary care setting. This is an employed, on-site position, working at two locations on a regularly scheduled basis.  Site locations are in Ukiah and Lakeport, within Lake and Mendocino counties.

MCHC provides comprehensive services for the communities of Mendocino and Lake Counties, which include Behavioral Health, Primary Care, Dental, Women's Health, and specialty care services such as Psychiatry, SUD, HIV care, and more. We have strong team support and a multidisciplinary approach to care. We throw our doors wide open to everyone in the communities we serve.

Highlights of being a Provider at MCHC:

• We see patients with mild to moderate mental health needs.
• Highly collaborative and team-oriented environment. You will have support.
• Psychiatrist and PMHNP on staff.
• We run a Pod model for our care team. This consists of a group of dedicated Medical Providers, MAs, LVN case managers, and Primary Care Counselors (LCSWs and Psychologists) to provide true wrap-around care. We also have language-immersive Pods to provide culturally competent healthcare to our pts.
• The team has a clear connection to the mission of MCHC.
• Location! Mendocino and Lake County are incredible places to live. You can live on a lake, in a picturesque valley, or in the mountains and still be 5-10 minutes away from the practice and a short drive to major cities.

Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Active CA license in one of the following:  Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Ph.D./Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology
• Knowledge and experience in individual counseling

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bilingual/Bicultural (English/Spanish)
• One or more years’ experience working within an integrated, primary care setting

Salary : $96,000 - $114,000
