Job Duties:
Responsible for coordinating, planning, and managing day program services for a caseload of 20 – 30 individuals.
Participate during annual inspections.
Coordination or completion of assigned individuals’ assessments.
Attend and participate in the development of the ISP, ISP Annual Update and all ISP revisions.
Supervise, monitor and evaluate services.
Provide hands on support to individuals as needed, direct care duties as needed.
Ensure provisions of on-going functional activities for each assigned individual.
Monitor, assess, and modify each individual’s program according to needs and desires.
Maintain individuals records in accordance with regulations.
Coordinate staff’s daily assignments.
Implement appropriate staff disciplinary procedures.
Ensure and maintain a safe working environment for individuals and staff.
Good communication skills (oral and written)
Excellent organization skills, flexibility, and ability to handle multiple projects
Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and 2 years of work experience working directly with persons with disabilities
An associate’s degree from an accredited college or university and 4 years of work experience working directly with persons with disabilities
Excellent attendance and work required
Good computer & Ipad skills
Supervisory experience preferred
Excellent attendance and work record required
Strong history of displaying professionalism
Requirements (all provided by McGuire):
Ability to pass physical and drug screening
Department of Human Services Child Abuse History Clearance
Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record Check
FBI Federal Criminal History Record (fingerprinting)
TB testing
