What are the responsibilities and job description for the Roustabout/Field Technician position at McGuire Industries, Inc.?
This is a full-time on-site and field support role for a Roustabout/Field Technician located in La Grange, TX. The Roustabout/Field Technician will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the shop, including organizing and maintaining equipment, assisting with inventory management, and keeping the work area clean and safe. The candidate will also be expected to help with various tasks as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the shop. Roustabout/Field Technician is also a support role for field supervisors and will be part of a roustabout crew on job rig ups/rig downs, etc. as needed. When in the field, jobs can and will last several hours and/or several days and job locations can be anywhere within our service area which includes but is not limited to: Central Texas, East Texas, South Texas, Louisiana and Arkansas. Roustabout/Field Technician position starts at $17.00 per hour DOE, and any overtime (over 40 hours per week) is paid at time and a half. Holidays worked if required are paid 8 hours for holiday in addition to actual job hours worked. Position is eligible for available benefits after 90 days.
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Experience in a related field is a plus
- MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVERS LICENSE-SUBJECT TO DRIVER HISTORY CHECK
- 21 YEARS OLD PREFERRED
- MUST BE ABLE TO PASS DRUG AND ALCOHOL TEST PRIOR TO EMPLOYMENT AND WILL BE SUBJECT TO RANDOM SCREENINGS.
